12 June 2007
Victory Services Club, London

A discussion workshop on digital inclusion, to launch a new programme of work on the role of digital technologies to promote educational equality. This event was designed to build constructive partnerships with other organisations and individuals tackling this issue, enabling us to work together towards educational equality.

More specifically offered the space and time to discuss key issues such as:

  • In what ways can the design and use of digital technologies promote educational equality?
  • How can we address the new educational divides emerging in digitally rich societies?

We launched a number of timely and significant publications - to review research in digital inclusion, to provoke and stimulate new visions for education, and to look towards the future of technology and education (see links on left-hand side of page).

Ultimately this research programme will provide tools, resources and guidance to policy-makers, learning institutions, networks and practitioners, as well as the educational, technology, media and creative industries.
