16 March 2010
Armada House conference centre, Bristol

This will be an interactive event to discuss the importance of space in the learning process. The event will draw on the latest academic research about the relationship between innovative pedagogies and the built environment, combining stimulating talks from researchers and designers, open discussions and participatory techniques like hands-on design. The event will be part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science 2010, which aims to give the general public an insight into the country’s leading social science research and its influence on our social, economic and political lives.

Secondary schools are invited to bring along 10 to 15 pupils to take part in this interactive day to explore the opportunities and challenges of engaging young people in school refurbishment and redesign.

This event is now fully subscribed.
