Have just returned from a really great week in Austria, paying a visit to the excellent "Ars Electronica" museum in Linz.

My daughter's passport arrived on the Saturday morning and, as it was half term week, and she features in my presentations, I managed to get hold of a ticket for her, too.

There was a practical advantage too, as Ellie was able to give a "young techno" perspective on the innovative ideas we saw. She was also far more qualified to "take off" with some of the ideas.

I am writing this sat in Brunei on the island of Borneo in South East Asia. Yesterday, Dubai, tomorrow Malaysia! Meanwhile, through all this travelling, the world has been in my pocket. "Blackberry (or, as they are known to fellow junkies:Crackberries!) and the world mails with you".
