Attend an event
A good way of getting involved in our activities, meeting like-minded people from a range of sectors that have an interest in innovation in education, and finding out about new projects and research, is by attending one of the events that we run throughout the year (see events section for details).
What sort of events we run and who can attend
Our annual conferences (run each autumn) are open to all, and provide a mix of high quality presentations, workshops and networking opportunities. Registration is via our online booking form (if you’re a newsletter or RSS subscriber you’ll be informed when it’s open).
Our research seminars and workshops are aimed at advancing understanding in specific subject areas, and are usually by invitation only. If you have a particular area of expertise or interest please let us know (research [at] futurelab [dot] org [dot] uk), so we can make sure that key people continue to be involved.
Our open days are held every two years at our offices in Bristol, where visitors get the chance to try out prototypes and meet some of our project partners. Places are free (allocated on a first-come, first-served basis), and advertised in our newsletter.
Our stand at BETT in London each January is a showcase for our latest activities, with prototype demos and plenty of research literature available. We also run a series of seminars at the show.
