It focuses on the use of games as resources to support the educational aims, objectives and planned outcomes of teachers who understand that games are an important medium in contemporary culture and young people’s experiences.

Survey analysis

March 2009
NFER Teacher Voice Omnibus

Six questions were submitted by Futurelab to the NFER Teacher Voice Omnibus Survey in February 2009, covering various topics relating to the use of computer games in the classroom. This report provides an analysis of the responses to the questions, along with supporting information about the survey.

Poster

This poster shows a set of scenarios developed to illustrate some of the ways in which computer games can support children’s and young people’s learning in schools. It is aimed at school teachers new to the subject, as well as policy makers and those in industry who may be interested in further exploring the potential of computer games use within schools.
