Exploratree Exploratree

A free web resource (currently in beta version) which can be used for downloading, using and making interactive thinking guides. Thinking guides can be useful for supporting independent and group research projects with frameworks for thinking, planning and enquiry.

Iya-ola Iya-ola

Iya-ola is a collection of language learning games with a difference: the player can only progress through collaborating with a learner in a different country. Initially focusing on English and Spanish, it has the potential to be developed for other languages. Prototype: KS2 languages

Language Train Language Train

The Language Train aims to create engaging tasks for students aged between 5 and 11 to practice phoneme recognition, by modelling different versions of words in Spanish. Prototype: KS1/2 languages.

Newtoon is a mobile phone and web activity which aims to embed physics learning in mobile gaming. It enables young people to author, play, edit and share fast-paced microgames based on a set of Newtonian physics principles. Prototype: KS3 science. Power League Power League

Power League is a free web resource for exploring any topic, through sampling group opinions and provoking group discussions. Create your own online leagues or use our existing ones. Can be used right across the curriculum with all age groups.

Racing Academy Racing Academy

Racing Academy is a racing videogame built on an advanced physics simulation engine. This prototype version has been trialled with older teenagers, and there is scope for it to become a multi-generational learning environment. Prototype: KS4 engineering, physics.
