Futurelab increasingly organises activities within specific themes. This allows us to focus our work in areas that we feel are particularly relevant and important, where a cohesive campaign can make a real impact on teaching and learning practices.
These are our current themes:
Digital Inclusion
A programme of work which looks at ways in which the design and use of digital technologies can promote educational equality, and asks how we can address the new educational divides emerging in digitally rich societies.
Teachers and Innovations
This work programme champions a culture of innovation in education, by promoting innovative practices that enhance learning and teaching, and developing resources to support this.
Learning Spaces
A programme of work which aims to provide the tools needed to envisage and create transformed learning spaces, as well as modelling and researching radically new, technology-enhanced learning spaces.
