Museum of the Moment

Between 19-28 October 2007, six buildings along Harrow Road in West London are broadcasting radio programmes created by artist Jennie Savage and local young people aged 13-25 from youth clubs in areas of high deprivation.

The buildings will transmit 24 hours a day over a 100-metre radius, broadcasting interviews and musical performances by Harrow Road residents, workers and visitors. Visitors to the work can hear the broadcast by using a mobile phone radio, any FM Radio, or wireless headphones (available at the venue).

A good way to hear the work is to start at one end of Harrow Road, and walk slowly to the other - you won’t hear all of each broadcast, but you’ll get snippets of interviews and music that will blend with the ambient sounds.
